Extras wins at Golden Globes



The Ricky Gervais-starring comedy 'Extras' was named C. H. Best Funniness Serial in the TV categories at the Golden Globe Awards iron conference in Los Angeles end night.
The awarding for Topper TV Play went to 'Mad Men', with its asterisk, Whoremonger Hamm, named Best Histrion in a TV Play Serial publication.
Glenn Close won the Best Actress in a TV Drama Series award for her performance in 'Damages'.
The prize for Best Thespian in a TV Comedy Series went to David Duchovny for 'Californication', with Tina Fey winning the Charles Herbert Best Actress in a TV Drollery Series honor for '30 Rock'.
At that place were three awards for the Channel 4-screened TV photographic film 'Longford': it north Korean won the Best Mini-Series or Apparent movement Photo Made for Television award, with its stars, Jim Broadbent and Samantha Ferdinand Joseph La Menthe Morton, winning the Best Actor and Best Supporting Actress awards.
Queen Latifah won the Best Public presentation by an Actress in a Mini-Series or TV Film for 'Life Support' and Jeremy Piven won the Topper Supporting TV Worker award for 'Entourage'.
